About Us

Founded in November 2014 for a liturgical performance of Fauré’s Requiem, the Fisher Consort is a versatile ensemble made up of students and recent graduates, many of whom are pursuing careers in music. The group takes its name from its original venue of residence, the Chapel of St John Fisher in Cambridge, and has performed in both concert and liturgical settings in Cambridge, London and beyond. The group specialises in the performance of new compositions, with individual members of the choir often having their own compositions premiered by the group.
